Take apart models for use by the Education Service at STEAM range from Stephenson’s Rocket, through to a large tender locomotive. The newly opened Interactive Area houses a 3 metre long model of Brunel’s Tamar Bridge, and a giant floor jigsaw which explains the workings of a steam locomotive. A limited edition model of the museum’s pannier locomotive is on sale in the shop.
